Rhode Island Nursing Education Center hosted a career fair for high school students interested in nursing careers on Wednesday, March 13 at 350 Eddy Street, Providence. Approximately 175 students from Providence public high schools and the Rhode Island Nurses Institute Middle College Charter High School participated in a series of workshops and seminars designed to foster improved understanding about the wide variety of jobs within the nursing profession.
Many thanks to the representatives from Rhode Island College, University of Rhode Island, New England Institute of Technology, Johnson & Wales University, Care New England, Lifespan, and the Providence Fire Department who guided students through the career exposure events.
